Job Description

Job Summary

Seton Regional is seeking an inspiring Music Teacher to cultivate a love of music in students while integrating faith-based teachings into their musical education. The ideal candidate will encourage creativity and performance in both vocal and instrumental instruction.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver an engaging music curriculum that includes theory, vocal performance, and instrumental instruction.
  • Lead school liturgical music and prepare students for Mass and special events.
  • Direct school choirs, ensembles.
  • Encourage students to explore and develop their musical talents.
  • Organize student performances for school and community events.
  • Foster a classroom environment that promotes creativity, teamwork, and respect.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to incorporate music into broader school initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Teaching certification or ability to obtain one.
  • Experience leading choirs, bands, or school musical programs preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Catholic liturgical music and traditions.
  • Passion for working with middle school students and fostering a love for music.
