Job Summary :Responsible for grants management processes from start to finish, ensuring compliance with funding guidelines, accurate record-keeping, and effective communication with grantees. This role supports fundraising from foundation and government sources and serves as the central point of contact for all re-granting activities, working collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to align grantmaking with CFBNJ’s strategic priorities and guidelines by funders.

What you’ll do in your role:  

  • Grant Proposal Development: Support team to ensure proposals are submitted on time and meet funder expectations. 
  • Grant Stewardship & Reporting: Manage awarded grants--tracking deadlines, maintaining funder relationships, and ensuring compliance and impactful reporting.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with internal teams to gather data, stories, and metrics. Use tools like Salesforce and Teams to support transparency and coordination.
  • Re-Grant Management: Serve as a point of contact for grantees, supporting the full grant lifecycle including application review, onboarding, payments, and technical support. 
  • Data & Impact Reporting: Maintain accurate records, monitor grantee progress, and evaluate project outcomes. Contribute to internal and external reporting efforts and recommend process improvements.

What you’ll need to be successful in this role :

  • Bachelor's degree; or a high school diploma or equivalency with three years of grant writing or persuasive writing experience required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Detail and deadline oriented, with an ability to work well under pressure.
  • Previous experience with CRM databases, such as Salesforce, preferred.

Pay Transparency : The salary range for this position is $65,982-$89,270. The final rate may be influenced by factors such as the position's scope and responsibilities, work experience, training, job-related skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
