The Warehouse Orchestration Center team, part of Product Supply in P&G, focuses on the innovative operational improvement of our European Distribution Centers, centralizing core supply chain processes in a digital, innovative and effective way. Our goal is to build a connected network of intelligent DCs through centralization, standardization and digitalization of Europe Warehousing tasks.
Our latest innovation, Remote Orchestration, is a cutting-edge technology designed to enhance remote warehouse management, targeting warehousing activities by orchestrating and managing all operations remotely from our new control center in Aspropyrgos.
We are looking for motivated individuals to join our W.O.C. organization in Aspropyrgos, Athens.
What You'll DoAs a Europe Warehousing Operations Manager, you will serve as the leader of the remote orchestration team, overseeing operations across multiple warehousing sites. This role involves assigning tasks, managing personnel, and serving as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the remote orchestration team by managing and guiding the staff to ensure effective task execution and operational efficiency.
⏱️ Coordinate activities on time with all warehousing sites to synchronize activities and promptly address any issues that arise.
Assess operational performance and make real-time decisions to enhance workflow and efficiency.
Allocate tasks to the team based on current operational needs and priorities.
Serve as the main contact between your team and external partners, providing updates and handling inquiries.
Drive discussions on operational challenges, performance metrics, and strategies for improvement.
⚙️ Uphold compliance with safety and operational protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
Work closely with your team to gather insights into operational challenges and recommend potential improvements.
Job Qualifications
What We're Looking For:
+ Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
+ Experience: Proven leadership experience in warehouse or logistics settings.
+ Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
+ Decision-Making: Capacity to make quick decisions under pressure in dynamic situations.
+ Technical Familiarity: Knowledge of automation systems and analytics is beneficial.
+ Language Proficiency: Fluent or native in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
