Role Overview

The Director of Sales Engineering will develop and execute sales strategies, manage the sales engineering team, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer success. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and partners is also a key responsibility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage the sales engineering team to meet revenue targets.
  2. Develop and implement technical sales strategies.
  3. Provide technical expertise and guidance to the sales team.
  4. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  5. Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners.
  6. Mentor and develop team members.

Experience, Skills & Abilities

  • 10+ years of experience in sales engineering or related fields.
  • Strong technical background.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience managing a sales engineering team.
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales automation tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

The base pay range is a guideline; actual offers will vary based on location, experience, skills, and other factors. The position is also eligible for equity awards and incentive compensation.
