Billing Specialist

Location: Surrey, BC (Onsite)

Position: Full-time (5 days a week)

Work Timings: 9:00 AM - 5 PM | (Mon - Fri or Tues - Sat)

As we continue to grow, we’re excited to offer an opportunity for a Billing Specialist at our Snore MD Clinic in Surrey, BC.

About the Role:

As a Billing Specialist at Snore MD, you’ll play a critical role behind the scenes—ensuring accuracy in billing, supporting patients with financial inquiries, and helping our operations run smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Managing patient billing processes with accuracy and professionalism
• Handling insurance claims, including extended benefits
• Following up on outstanding balances and reconciling billing discrepancies
• Coordinating with clinical teams and external insurers to resolve issues and ensure timely payments
• Documenting all billing activities and communications in our internal systems
• Supporting the finance and operations teams with administrative tasks as needed

About You:

You’re a numbers person “ with a heart”. You care deeply about doing things right and supporting others in the process. Your background may include healthcare, insurance, medical billing, or a related admin-focused role, but what really sets you apart is your attention to detail, accountability, and clear communication. You would bring along:

• Previous experience in billing, insurance coordination, or medical administration
• Experience with extended health benefits in BC (an asset, but not required)
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Empathetic, clear communicator—especially when explaining billing issues to patients
• Tech-savvy and confident using billing or CRM systems
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced , high-accountability environment
• A team player with a proactive mindset—you take ownership and follow through
• Legally eligible to work in Canada (no sponsorship provided)

• Competitive salary: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour + bonuses (up to $4.00 per hour monthly, totaling up to $24.00 - $27.00 per hour)
