Job Description
We are looking for an Associate Graphic Designer for a top apparel company in San Francisco, CA! As an Associate Graphic Designer, you will support the in-house creative team in bringing brand strategy to life through visually compelling design across digital, social, and in-store channels. Youll assist in the execution of seasonal campaigns and design assets while building your design skills and learning how to apply brand standards in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities:Creative Support- Assist in the creation of visual content and graphic assets for various channels, including social media, email, digital ads, in-store signage, and site graphics
- Support execution of seasonal campaign concepts with attention to detail and brand consistency
- Help maintain and apply brand identity and design standards
- Contribute to concepting sessions and share inspiration and mood boards to support creative direction
Project Execution- Work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Prepare and organize design files for review and production
- Support in resizing, adapting, and versioning creative assets across formats and platforms
- Implement feedback from senior designers and art directors to refine work
Cross-Functional Collaboration- Collaborate with Art Directors, Copywriters, and other Designers to execute cohesive designs
- Participate in creative team meetings and brainstorms
- Partner with production teams to ensure files are accurate and production-ready
Learning & Growth- Stay up to date on design trends, tools, and best practices
- Seek feedback to continuously improve design craft and understanding of brand standards
- Develop a growing understanding of the customer, aesthetic, and visual storytelling approach
Required Qualifications:- 02 years of design experience (internships or freelance welcome), ideally in retail, fashion, or consumer brands
- A strong design portfolio that shows foundational skills in layout, typography, and brand application
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); Figma and motion skills a plus
- Eager to learn, organized, and detail-oriented
- Able to take direction well and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong interest in fashion, retail, and storytelling through design
- Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field preferred
